Important Things to Know Before You Tint
Choosing an installer/ location to
have your windows tinted may seem like a cut & dry decision
 but there are
many factors to think about before you decide.

1. WHAT TYPE OF FILM IS USED?
Choosing the right type of film is one of the most important factors when it comes to the lifetime of your installation. Over time a cheap film will turn purple, begin to crack, bubble, fade and peel. This not only effects the appearance of your vehicle, but it also increases the cost when you need to get your windows re-tinted in the future. Most installers will charge between $50 - $100 just to remove the cheap film and adhesive. A good film will last the lifetime of your vehicle without changing.

2. WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY IS OFFERED?
Choosing a brand that offers a
lifetime warranty is just as important as the film itself. If the company or installer only offers a 5 year warranty then what does that say about the film they are using? We offer a
lifetime warranty on all installations. This means that should your film be defective and begin to fade, crack, bubble, or peel we will gladly replace it at no cost to you for the time that you own the vehicle.

3. ENVIRONMENT
If you choose the right type of film with a lifetime warranty then you need to make sure the environment is kept clean, dust free, and separate from other automotive services.  The smallest particle of dust, dirt, or hair becomes very visible once the film is applied.
Be cautious
of mobile tinters.. Although their skills can be just as good as those who work in a shop they have no control over the environment. Regardless of how good they are or how many references they carry it is essential to tint in a clean and dust free environment. Here at Highline Customs, we take pride in the cleanliness of our shop. We take all measures to ensure that dust, dirt, and other particles do not come between the glass and the film.
We will inspect your vehicle before, during, and after the installation with you to make sure you leave with a flawless installation.
